IT Project Manager - Interactive Technologies - Vail Resorts



The primary function of this position will be to lead the development
and delivery of Internet Application projects across Vail Resort's
Sales
and Marketing Application Ecosystem. This includes the leadership,
coordination, and completion of project definition and planning,
design,
development, testing, and deployment. This individual will work
closely
with the On-Line Marketing team to define business objectives and
translate those business objectives into technical solutions. The
project manager will be responsible for day-to-day project management
activities such as risk/issue resolution, project planning, budgeting
and communication. This individual will lead the development of
appropriate testing, training, and transition plans to ensure seamless
implementations, and will coordinate testing activities between
business
and technical stakeholders. This position will manage relationships
with 3rd party vendors, including contract negotiations and
recommendations for future enhancements; prepare systems for compliance
with SOX; and participate in the development of corporate standards for
system use, reports, and processes. He/she will work closely with the
Senior Manager - Interactive Technologies, responding to evolving
business requirements and determining how technologies will continually
assist these needs. The individual will also work with various lines of
business to manage and prioritize ongoing support and maintenance
activities across Vail Resort's suite of internet applications. This
position is located in Broomfield, Colorado.



The applicant must have 3 - 5 years of experience leading mixed teams
of
business stakeholders, vendors and internal team members to the on time
/ on budget completion of marketing internet related projects. He/she
must have a deep understanding of project management tools and
approaches to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects and the
flexibility to lead diverse and dynamic teams to deliver balanced and
integrated solutions. Must have domain knowledge of internet
applications and technologies. Must be able to demonstrate experience
with at least one software delivery methodology. Must be able to
balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a
team. Must have outstanding verbal and written communication,
facilitation, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service
skills. Experience working in an interactive agency or consulting
environment preferred. Experience and interest in the ski and lodging
industries preferred. B.S. degree in a computer related field
preferred.

IT Business Analyst - Internet Applications - Vail Resorts



The IT Business Analyst - Internet Applications provides support to the
Corporate Marketing and Sales department, Brand Marketing departments,
and related IT departments. This individual participates in projects
involving internet applications and supporting technologies as a
business subject matter expert and leads the gathering, documentation,
and approval of business requirements. This individual will work
closely with the Senior Manager - Internet Applications, responding to
evolving business requirements, determining how technologies will
continually assist these needs, and troubleshooting ongoing support and
maintenance issues. This individual drives processes such as software
package selection, make versus buy decisions, and vendor selection.
The
Analyst will also participate in application testing activities and
help
drive quality assurance across projects. The individual may lead small
projects as a Project Lead and is well versed in vendor management
skills. He/she is also on the forefront of bringing new technologies
to
bear on business problems. This position is located in Broomfield,
Colorado.



Minimum three years prior Analyst experience in internet applications
in
the travel industry. College level education required. Experience in
software application implementations required. Experience gathering
and
documenting business requirements using software development
methodology
best practices required. Experience developing RFPs and facilitating
vendor / package selection process required. Strong teamwork and
interpersonal skills at all levels. Proven track record using
analytical
and problem-solving skills. Ability to research projects with minimal
guidance. Working knowledge of all applications in Microsoft Office
suite. Experience and interest in the ski and lodging industries
preferred.

Senior Systems Analyst - Vail Resorts



The position location is Broomfield, CO. The Systems Analyst is
responsible for the implementation and maintenance of PeopleSoft
Financials and other financial software. This individual ensures that
PeopleSoft Financials modules and other financial software are meeting
organizational needs. This individual collaborates with IT and Finance
staff to meet business requirements. The Systems Analyst

will provide primary support of financial software (PS Budgeting, PS
General Ledger, PS Project Costing, Daily Reporting (Accounts
Receivable), FAS Encore, FinTools, and Tax Technologies) and back-up
support of relevant applications. This individual will participate in
projects and upgrades for financial software. This individual must be
familiar with SOX compliant business processes.

Requirements:

B.S. degree in a computer related field preferred. Must have 3 - 5
years
PeopleSoft Financials experience. Data warehouse experience is
preferred. Must be able to balance multiple demands and work both

service skills. Minimal travel may be required.
