Under the direction of the Manager, Global Business Application Services,
an Application Specialist HR/JDE is responsible for analyzing the business
needs of their clients and stakeholders to help identify business problems
and propose solutions. The application specialist is the liaison between
the internal business customers and the information technology team or
external service providers. The application specialist is ensures the
business system requirements of MWH are met in the most efficient manner.
The application specialist also ensures compliance with MWH standards for
integrated solutions.

Liaise with the assigned user community to define MWH business system
requirements and resolve issues.
Provide expertise on software applications and integrated solutions on
multiple platforms.
Develop or modify the existing procedures to solve the complex business
problems consistent with the systems¡¿ capabilities and required outcomes.
Prepare and review detailed business and system specifications
Analyze and map processes (current state/future state)
Develop and execute system test plans and review systems results.
Process change requests and Requests for Change
Stay current with new technologies and approaches.
Analyze and modify existing system logic as required.
Liaise with other project teams to coordinate interdependencies and
resolve issues.
Report status and issues to the Project Manager(s).
Coordinate with the development team to ensure that both the business and
system logic necessary to properly complete the assignment is being
followed.
Perform training and documentation duties when assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Technical: Solid understanding of financial application solutions and
technologies. JD Edwards E1 Compensation Management, Employee Master, and
other HR modules, Job Cost and Payroll. Interface experience is highly
desired. Understanding of a variety of technologies and platforms
(client/server and web). Microsoft Office including Visio.
Business Processes: Expertise in the modeling/mapping of business
processes, conduct as-is/to-be business process workshops, is instrumental
in the business process improvement (BPI) and involved in the change
management exercise.
General skills: communication skills (listening), the ability to assemble,
analyze and evaluate data and to be able to make appropriate and
well-reasoned recommendations and decisions to support the business
stakeholders and the project team.

Experience:


Bachelor Degree in a business-related discipline or its equivalent coupled
with a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated technical expertise in business
systems analysis required. Exceptional organizational and analytical
skills with a knowledge of the iSeries (AS400), Oracle JDEdwards
EnterpriseOne and JD Edwards World software, query tools, file structures,
system processes, SQL, etc., also required. Preferred experience ¡V
EnterpriseOne Web client.

MWH is seeking an Solutions Analyst within the Centre of Consulting
Innovations group. This position is located in the corporate headquarters
office in Broomfield, CO.

Responsible for creation, enhancement, and maintenance of business
critical technical systems and application software utilizing a variety of
computing architecture (e.g., client/server, intranet, web) platforms.
Analyze problems and recommend solutions to insure the business
requirements of MWH are met in the most efficient manner. Ensure an
integrated approach to solutions is utilized and solutions are aligned
with the overall strategy of MWH Global and the business objectives and
requirements of internal customers.


This position interacts throughout the organization internally and
externally. This position will collaborate with company customers, staff,
IT colleagues and other stakeholders to identify the customer technical
requirements assess impacts to other data and systems, consider available
technologies, compare costs and benefits, and recommend solutions. This
position will ensure results meet negotiated customer expectations and
adhere to company standards and strategies.

1. Solution Development Lifecycle Management
- Define business requirements and work with other team members to
translate requirements into technical solutions. Analysis skills should
entail scope definition leading to iterations of requirements and design.
Frequent interaction with technical and process architects.
- Creation of Rough Order Magnitude and Statement of Work documents
- Creation of internal Work Orders
- Compose and manage the development of both high-level and detailed use
cases and document the proposed solution¡¿s vision and scope. Ensure that
requirements statements are complete, concise, comprehensible, feasible,
and verifiable and that they conform to standards.
- Contribute to the entire SDLC process by participating in technical
design reviews, conference room pilots, testing, training and
post-implementation evaluation to ensure that business requirements and
objectives have been fulfilled. Identify issues and gaps between original
and actual solution functionality.
- Analyze, develop, and recommend modifications to internal development
and support processes that will result in the team¡¿s ability to deliver
and support solutions.
2. Business Partnering
- Responsible for all aspects of the ownership of relationships between
the clients and the CCI Fast World Delivery organization with respect to
the engagement assigned.
- Support business case development by ensuring that scope, requirements,
business impact and project timelines are realistic and achievable.
Understand the justification behind solution delivery initiatives
including the motivating factors for all stakeholders.
- Analyze, develop, and recommend modifications to supporting business
processes that will result in the most efficient use of the implemented
solutions.
- Evaluate requests, identify solutions and alternatives, determine
high-level work estimates, and route for appropriate approval and
prioritization.
3. Marketing
- Create and deliver solution demos to a wide variety of internal and
external audiences
- Create and maintain marketing related materials (product sheets,
presentations, web content, etc
- Socialize solution value proposition via in-person and web-based
presentations
4.Project Management
- Create and maintain all project plans and the information required for
the plan including scope definition.
- Adhere to PMO Project Management Framework.
- Participate in required PMO meetings and workshops.
- Report project status to the PMO for all high-risk projects.
Communicate project status to team members, stakeholders, and end users.
- Manage project scope to ensure deliverable dates are met. Responsible
for tracking all change requests and managing their implementation or
deferral.
5.People/Resource Management
- No direct reports
- Expected to be an influential leader in the CCI organization
- Work with line managers to resource project plans.
- Act as a mentor to other staff by providing guidance in solving
problems, and being effective in all aspects of their jobs. Assist and
coach staff in areas of continuous improvement, customer service
orientation, and career development.

Experience - External:




Bachelor"s degree in an information technology or related discipline
required.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive responsibility in solution
