Job Description
You will be working as a software engineer in small project teams and
have the opportunity to make an impact to InfoNow and our customers
by delivering quality, timely solutions.

The job consists of using software engineering best practices for
designing, implementing, documenting, and testing new features, bug
fixes and enhancements for the user interfaces of the Channel Insight
and Location Insight products.

You must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and be capable of
juggling multiple priorities. It is essential that you are able to
deliver as an individual contributor while also assisting others when
that is called for. Being highly self-motivated and a quick learner
is also important. You will be working closely with other software
engineers, development and product managers, and our QA/test team. No
travel is required.

The Data Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing,
and maintaining a standardized, proactive, system-wide data quality
management (compliance) plan for Channel Insight. Assessing current
compliance activities, identifying areas of high risk, and evaluating
risk factors in the delivery of data to Channel Insight customers.

Responsible for proactively ensuring Channel Insight data processing
activity is occurring both timely and accurately for all customers.

This is a hands-on data analysis role with a focus on both
identifying data quality issues and the creation of continuous
improvement initiatives around data quality.

Focus areas the DQM include:

Completeness of Data – Control Data. Which is defined as constant
confirmation of all inbound data (Point of Sale, Inventory,
Manufacturer Reported Sales, Product Catalogs, Price Lists, Account
List, etc.) flows to the applicable locations of the system (Exports,
Data Warehouse, etc.).

Identification Rate Attainment. Includes both understanding of
target identification rates, by client, by type (product, address,
etc.) and constant analysis of the attainment of target
identification rates with a focus on continuous improvement.

Identification Rate Accuracy. Involves analysis of historical
identifications of products or businesses from within sales and
inventory data to continuously improve false positive and negative
matches both

Production Support – Client facing research and resolution of system
processing issues resulting in data delivery interruptions or
degredations.

Qualified candidates will be proactive in identifying areas of
improvement both through technology and process development. Duties
will include working with the project and client teams to create
plans for accomplishing project objectives and addressing project
risks in compliance with applicable professional standards; managing
data quality including work products, timing, and value delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• College degree in information technology or related field
and minimum of 5 years of professional experience and/or a Masters
degree with at least 3 years of experience

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Proven ability to communicate complex data issues to a wide
variety of decision-makers and interface with executive management,
clients and staff at all levels

• Must demonstrate excellent business analysis & project
management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility among project
team, and use current technology and tools to enhance deliverable and
