time position for a Developer III Research and Development. If you are

Dev III (Research and Development)
Responsibilities:
* Interact with more senior people on the team and or group
(depending on the scope of their current role) to understand more
advanced concepts.
* Analysis of current and up and coming technological, mobile,
and development trends and understanding the impact of these events on 9
Squared and its current business mode as well as potentially new
business models.
* Proof of concept implementations of new technologies in
relation to the current corporate business model as well as potentially
new offerings and business models.
* Lead the development efforts of proof of concept
implementations to ensure that standardized patterns practices are
adhered, individuals understand limitations of proven technologies, as
well as keeping the offered asset in line with product direction.
* Will have to rely on their creativity in thinking and
development to address the limitations in new technologies to viably
bring a proof of concept into the product development life cycle (e.g.
iPhone, Blackberry, and Android).
* Implement frameworks to facilitate efficiency in product
development within the other development groups.
* Assist in leading the standards of development within the
organization.
Position Requirements:
* 6+ years development experience in object oriented language a
must and some experience in procedural languages (C, Perl, PHP, Tcl).
* Adept understanding of multiple object oriented and procedural
languages (e.g. Java, C#/.NET, C++).
* Extensive experience in analysis, design, and development.
* Must understand UML and be able to represent thought in UML
based glyphs.
* Must have experience and a strong grasp of pattern development
and usage, framework development, SoC, and IoC.
* Must have extensive experience with relational databases.
* Must be well spoken and well written and must be able to
thoroughly and adeptly communicate concept and direction.
* Must have experience in managing resources within the
development lifecycle.
* Must have experience with full SDLC, development paradigms,
and project management cycles.
* Must be able to add value to the organizational units that
they work tangent to as well as organizational processes.
* MUST be an outside of the box thinker and must be able to
apply their creativity to multiple aspects of the development cycle as
well as technology.
Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with fundamental wireless technologies.
* Bachelors/Masters/Technical Degree (CS, EE, EECS or
equivalent).
