eBags is seeking an experienced IT project manager to join the software development team, reporting to the Sr. Director of Software Development. The ideal candidate will have experience managing all phases of the project lifecycle and will be familiar with agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
Responsibilities:
• Manage multiple software development projects using the Scrum methodology.
• Drive project evaluation, requirements and scoping phases of new project initiatives
• Document requirements in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, third party vendors and partners to ensure efficient implementation by sprint teams
• Oversee project implementation activities from requirements and design through production release
• Be highly available to sprint teams to identify and mitigate project risks and hurdles
• Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning and other meetings to keep projects on track
• Coordinate project activities with partners and vendors
• Communicate project progress, issues, obstacles and schedule changes to IT management and business stakeholders
• Manage project and task backlogs in coordination with business stakeholders
• Deliver projects to the business within committed timeframes
Position Requirements:
• Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams in an Agile development environment
• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to quickly master new concepts and technologies
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Self-motivation and the capability of working independently
• Ability to be organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks with exceptional work ethic
• Solid understanding of project management principles and software development life cycles
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite and project management tools such as MS Project
Minimum Experience Requirements:
• Bachelors degree or applicable job experience
• 3+ years project management experience in a technical environment
• Exposure to Scrum or similar agile software development process
Desired Experience:
• Internet/e-commerce experience
• Scrum Master Certification

eBags is looking for a Quality Engineer to join the team! This position evaluates and tests software programs to verify programs function according to specifications and standards by performing the following duties:
Test Automation Duties
• Evaluate and recommend third party tools for test automation
• Develop programs and tools to automate test processes
• Work closely with developers to create unit tests
• Develop automated integration tests and performance tests
• Perform other white-box testing tasks as required to vet software functionality, usability, reliability, performance and supportability
• Participate in software architecture and design to ensure quality considerations are part of every solution
General Duties
• Evaluate and test software programs to verify functionality according to user requirements and documentation
• Validate performance of software relative to established guidelines and benchmarks
• Test usability of software in collaboration with business stakeholders and customers
• Validate the reliability of software via stress testing
• Validate the supportability of software in collaboration with operations and development teams
• Create and execute test cases and test plans for all the above
• Review logs, configuration settings and database states to identify errors and recommend improvements
• Document test results and provide release readiness recommendations
• Document defects, questionable functions, errors and inconsistencies in software with an attention to detail and written steps to reproduce found issues
• Respond to inquiries from business stakeholders, customer support and internal customers regarding functions and operation of software and systems
• Coordinate user acceptance test feedback and train users where needed

• In depth knowledge of testing concepts, tools and methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to write software in Java, Cold Fusion and/or C#
• Demonstrated knowledge of SQL query syntax and usage
Desired Requirements:
• 2+ years developing or testing .NET applications
• Experience with e-commerce and associated testing requirements
• Knowledge of business to business integration leveraging EDI and XML
• In depth knowledge of Visual Studio Test Edition
• Web performance testing experience
