Job Description: Database Administrator



Springbok Services, Inc. (www.springbokservices.com) is a leading and

Responsibilities:



* Database development, reporting development and data migration
using Microsoft SQL Server

* Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and user
defined functions

* Import and export data to and from SQL Server

* Optimization and tuning of SQL

* Monitor SQL Server Jobs and performance

* Monitoring and performance optimization of Microsoft SQL Server

* Perform database design by analyzing business requirements

* Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of database issues

* Assist in the application development, debugging,
configuration, and optimization from database perspective

* Assist with software release management, software upgrades, new
products and migration.

* Other tasks as needed



Requirements:

* 4 years SQL Server experience

* 4 years TSQL programming experience

* Must have working knowledge of stored procedures, views and SQL
user defined functions

* 2 years SQL server administration experience

* 1 year SQL Server management studio experience

* Must be able to work in a high paced team environment

* SQL Server 2005 migration experience a plus
