CONTRACT POSITION: TWO (2) MONTH CONTRACT
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $50 TO $85
General Purpose
Magpie Telecom Insiders, Inc. is looking for highly-skilled software
developers with C/C++ and experience writing automated tests to work at a
client site to write unit test code for an existing consumer-grade embedded
system. The goal is to provide a testing harness to help improve overall
product quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* The development of test code for existing software modules.
* Assist with the refinement of the current unit testing environment.
* Design, develop and test software following existing client
policies, process, and procedures
Skills and Experience Necessary- Candidates should posses a very high degree
of knowledge in the following topic areas:
* Significant development experience in C/C++
* Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and comfortable with the GNU
development environment.
* Experience with automated test environments in the xUnit family
(e.g. CppUnit, Junit, etc.)
* Familiarity with multi-threaded programming, Bugzilla, and PowerTV.
* Good team player with a can-do attitude
Education and Experience Necessary
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent with 2-5 years of related work
experience.
