The Database Analyst will have responsibility for data quality, data
mining, troubleshooting, database development, leadership, and
communicating between business and IT. The job will also involve
creating standards and procedures and working with a team of offshore
developers. The candidate should possess the majority of the
requirements below.

* Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL databases *
Intimate with PL/SQL, Unix Shell, SQL, T-SQL, DTS packages, and SSIS
development * Experience with standard concepts, practices and
procedures relating to data manipulation * Ability to track and
understand data elements from varied sources * Excellent written and
verbal communication skills * Ability to communicate complex data
issues to a wide variety of decision-makers and staff at all levels *
Must demonstrate excellent business analysis skills, inspire teamwork
and responsibility, have the capacity to lead teams, and use current
technology and tools to provide effective services * Ability to work
with an expedited delivery schedule and changing priorities * Strong
problem solving and investigative skills * Ability to obtain a
detailed understanding of the major procedures/functions of the groups
being supported * Evaluate current processes and workflow for various
business functions, document findings, and recommend improvements *
Knowledge of MS Office products * Ability to work with a diverse team
both internally and overseas

Required Skills
