KEY FUNCTIONS:
-Identifies and models the ongoing resource requirements, both
financial & people, of the program and identifies any areas of
potential risk due to insufficient resources.
-Participates in the coordination & implementation of resources for
all of One IT in order to optimize the achievement of program goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Performs resource management, evaluating project needs, assigning
appropriate staff based on skill assessment, communicating
scheduling assignments, and resolving conflicts.
-Evaluates current competencies of staff and ensures that activities
and projects have the competent resources they need, where staff are
best used, and where staff are underutilized.
-Develops and maintains a staff utilization process to ensure that
resources are fair, balanced, and effectively distributed across
projects.
-Compares project / task estimates in the Master Schedule to actual
work performed
-Develops and maintains a Skills Assessment Process based on project
plans and related employee needs analysis
-Anticipates staffing requirements.
-Prepares weekly reports on resource allocation and utilization
rates to the CIO, VP's and Directors.
-Oversee and provide direction to resource management support staff

REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related
technical field required.
-3+ years experience in IT/project management required.
-1+ year supporting resource management required.
-May substitute an equivalent combination of education and
experience.
-Excellent oral & written communication skills
-Good interpersonal skills including the ability to work
independently, resolve conflicts.
-Analytical skills along with detail orientation and attention are
needed as well as having a broad perspective and effective problem
solving with decision making ability.
