RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Develops Extract-Transform-Load documentation.
-Designs multidimensional data models.
-Defines physical database structures.
-Designs and writes ETL scripts using a variety of tools and custom
database procedures.
-Performs data analysis and profiling.
-Works closely with client personnel to design and implement
scalable and high-performance data warehouse load procedures.
-Configures ETL within client environments.
-Conducts performance load testing.
-Assures that ETL deliverables are completed on-time and within
budget.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor degree in computer science or related technical field
required.
-4 years experience in a highly critical Operational Data Warehouse
environment working to develop and apply effective solutions for
major Data
-Warehouse applications required.
-May substitute an equivalent combination of education and
experience.
-Familiar with Informatica and Online Analytical Processing.
-Knowledge of leading practices in loading and maintaining data in
complex data warehouse environments required.

business users.
-Manages requirements to ensure that scope is consistent with stated
needs.
-Validates requirements to ensure that they meet the customers needs
and contain the desired attributes.
-Prioritizes requirements to ensure that highest priority needs are
addressed appropriately – in conjunction with the BI warehouse
management team.
-Elicits, analyzes, validates, specifies, verifies and manages
requirements.
-Acts as conduit between customer community and the warehouse
development team.
-Distinguishes user requests from true requirements needs.
-Elicits requirements through, interviews, document analysis, site
visits, business process descriptions.
-Represents requirements using prototypes, diagrams or other
relevant techniques.
-Ensures requirements are complete, consistent, concise,
comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous and verifiable.

REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor degree in computer science or related technical field
required.
-4+ years of total IT/BI experience required.
-2+ years experience with analyzing customer business requirements
for reporting required.
-May substitute an equivalent combination of education and

-Knowledge of Healthcare provider operational and strategic
processes preferred.

models and identifies data sharing opportunities.
-Participates in design of the data warehouse staging layers and
data marts.
-Participates in the development and maintenance of the meta data
repository.
-Analyzes database and business systems in order to perform data
modeling (high level conceptual business/data models, entity-
relationship logical data models, and detailed physical database
design models).
-Provides guidance to development applications by applying knowledge
of data warehouse design, development, and implementation concepts
including operational data stores and data marts (logical and
physical).
-Builds and maintains logical and physical data models and process
change requests to those models to support application design,
enhancements and performance improvements.
-Manages data models and associated Database Definition Language
(DDL)scripts through the development lifecycle using source code
control tools.
-Reviews reporting/analytical requirements and/or existing SQL
queries and develop dimensional models that simplify the SQL
required to perform OLAP
analysis.
-Defines dimensional models in a semantic layer and develop SQL to
define views to expose data stored in 3NF modeled tables in the
dimensional views.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelor degree in computer science or related technical field
required.
-5+ years of experience in data administration activities and
logical and physical data modeling required.
-May substitute an equivalent combination of education and
experience.
-Experience with performance tuning of analytical data systems
-Experience in creating designs for enterprise warehouses, data
marts, data cubes preferred.
-Knowledge of data elements used in healthcare provider systems
strongly preferred.
-Knowledge of best practices in logical and physical database design
required.

REQUIREMENTS:
-2 year Associate's technical IT degree. Bachelor's degree
preferred.
-1-3 years experience working with data warehouse operations
required.

-Strong organizational and analytical skills.
-Understanding of the BI technical infrastructure including
security, databases, ETL and reporting environments required.
-MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio skills
required.
-Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to effectively work in a large, geographically diverse
system.
