SOFTWARE CONFIGURATION MANAGER
LOCATION: Broomfield, Colorado
DEPARTMENT: Development
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This individual will be responsible for establishing, maintaining
and enhancing the SCM practices. This team member will perform
builds, software configuration management activities, training,
maintain documentation, assist in developing automated tools, and
additional SCM functions as needed.
We are looking for an individual with strong Project Management
skills and the ability to work effectively with dynamic development
teams. This individual reports to the Manager of Software
Configuration Management / Environment Management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Create build of development code to be promoted
o Troubleshoot code compilation and check-in issues
o Administer ClearCase and third party software used to compile code
o Liaison between Applications Support, DBA, Technical Architecture,
Development, and Quality Engineering
o Create, modify, automate build tools
REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
o Bachelors Degree
o Rational ClearCase experience
o Solid background with SCM concepts, policies, and procedures
o Strong UNIX skills - UNIX Schell Scripting and Make Files
o Strong Perl scripting experience
o Strong Ant and XML experience
o CruiseControl / Continuous Integration experience
o Development experience in C, C++, SQL, SQR, Java, J2EE
TRAVEL: Not required for this position.
