Ricoh - Sales Operations Specialist, Financial Operations Lead

Sales Operations Specialist responsible for complex projects and assignments associated with driving Americas business plan attainment. Supports the efforts of the field sales teams responsible for the selling and installation of InfoPrint offerings, solutions, and services. This Sales Operations role will assist in the development and interpretation of business plans, measurements of actual results against expectations, and measuring and analyzing volumes and revenues for the geography. Responsibilities also include business analysis, decision support and proficiently utilizing reporting systems including forecasting, budgeting/ resource planning, pipeline coverage, load tracking and attainment metrics.


Required Skills:
Experience in Sales / Sales operations.
Proven experience in forecasting / budgeting.
Leadership, attention to detail, strong spreadsheet and BRIO skills, excellent communication and problem solving capabilities.

Summary
This position will work within Treasury and should have advanced knowledge of financial operations. Main responsibilities will be to manage the Accounts Receivables and Dispute processes and to ensure that both vendors and internal resources follow business guidelines. The primary focus will be to drive results that have a direct impact to cash flow and dispute resolution. The position will also be responsible for supporting the accounting team in all functions that include AR. Accounting tasks will revolve around the month end close and auto invoicing errors.


Essential Duties
- Manage internal and external customer escalations relating to AR and disputes. Assign corrective actions and manage through full resolution.
- Monitor overall AR and dispute progress / measurements and assign priority based on resource availability, customer experience and cash flow requirements.
- Manage the Dunning Program to ensure compliance of payment terms and support a DSO that meets industry standards.
- Manage bad debt accounts which includes termination of contracts and direction to AR resources about when to initiate write offs and coordinate with 3rd party vendors.
- Document dispute process based on BPO instruction and communicate to all stakeholders.
- Identify problems and performance exposure, providing in-depth yet concise analysis of cause and alternative solution approaches.
- Conduct process analysis, identify risk and recommend process improvement to AR / Credit BPO.
- Provide education / training and leadership to less experienced staff and vendors.
- Prepare and present analysis to executive management for collections, cash application, bad debt, credits, DSO and dispute resolution. Provide management with recommendations based on accounting guidelines, best practices and company policies.
- Maintain data management processes in support of finance initiatives.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
- Take lead for finance on all AR processes required for SOX and Audit purposes.


Required Skills:
- 5+ years in financial operations management.
- 7-10 years working within finance organizations which may include; Accounts Receivables, Credit Management, Invoicing and Disputes or Revenue Reporting.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, GL Accounting and SOX requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process change at all levels of an organization.


Preferred Skills:
- In depth understanding of Oracle and / or Siebel
- Strong MS Office Experience (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience in Project Management


Education/Certifications:
BS in Finance or equivalent work experience.
