Job Title: Storage Quality Engineer
Location: Broomfield, CO
Job Description:
Design, develop, and execute tests to validate product quality for Oracle's enterprise class storage solutions.
Detailed Description:
. Create and execute manual and automated tests for storage products that involve complex configurations using Solaris and x86 based operating systems
. Perform storage-related load tests, stress tests, and capacity tests
. Analyze failures and work with Engineering in identifying root cause
. Participate in creating and improving QA processes and tools
. Work in conjunction with the various storage Program Teams.
. This is a test lead position and may require directing the work of others and assisting junior engineers.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/analytical skills in area of specialization.
Education: BS or MS degree or equivalent experience. 5 years of software engineering or related experience.
Additional Details: The Engineered Systems & Storage Quality Engineering (ESSQE) organization is looking for a test integration engineer who will be responsible for:
. Generating/reviewing test requirements
. Testing Oracle's storage hardware and software storage solutions, in multiple hardware/software configurations
. Hardware and software setup
. Test planning
. Test case creation
. Test case execution
. Test Reporting
. Debugging problems and filing bug reports
Preferred Skills / Knowledge
. Storage testing experience
. Oracle database and/or application experience
. Windows, Solaris/UNIX, Linux operating systems
. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
. Protocols: SAS, iSCSI, FC, FCoE
. Test Tools:
o HP Quality Center
o Oracle Automated Test Suite (OATS) OpenScript
o or other equivalent tools

Job Title: Storage/Systems QE Manager
Location: Broomfield, CO
Job Description:
This group is responsible for providing functional and system level testing of storage products and I/O sub-systems across all Solaris and Oracle Linux releases on our X86 platforms, and provides ongoing patch test and escalation support. The responsibilities include early engagement with the development teams, designing test plans and test specs, and implementing the testing within schedules to ensure release of a quality product. The responsibilities also include test automation and regular/weekly status updates to the product teams and management.
Candidate must have a bachelor's or masters degree with minimum of 5 yrs of
hands-on management experience. Strong knowledge of storage and I/O sub-systems is required. Knowledge of SPARC/Solaris and x86/Linux systems is desired. Previous experience with test/QE environments is also desired.
The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work in large teams that are spread across various time zones.
