JOB DUTIES

This position is primarily responsible for the following functional areas and the resources that administer the specific disciplines within the Infrastructure Department:

Networks, including both WAN, LAN and Security functions
Windows based Servers
Production AIX and Linux based server and storage environments
Virtual Environments
Disaster Recovery
Internal Applications
Internet and Intranet functionality
Overall Security of the company's data

Provide leadership and direct a team to achieve optimum use of infrastructure by performing needs analysis, procurement support, installation, and problem resolution for servers, storage devices, network, security devices, computers, telecom, etc. Responsible for identifying and managing multiple projects per year that allows the environment the stability and scalability that meets the business' requirements.

Responsible for management of the Systems and Engineering teams supporting the overall architecture and technical integrity of corporate and client facing production environments. Provide technical management, advice, counsel and assistance for the root cause analysis of systems failures and related complex issues, including post mortems for issues; identify, analyze and resolve system deficiencies; assist and mentor technical support staff in the planning process to insure serviceability and reliability; act as an internal consultant and mentor for lower level staff in such areas as diagnostic techniques; problem identification and determination, and corrective procedures. Work with Account Management team and communicate effectively issues, resolution, timeframe and impact to the business and clients


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor Degree and ITIL Certifications a must.


EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of 5-7+ years progressive experience managing teams that are responsible for networks, security, server, data centers that support complex business environments.
Experience managing a team Engineers and Administrators in a complex technical environment.
Proficient in architecture design methodologies required to support high-availability environments with strict security requirements.
Must possess strong analytical skills and effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with a wide range of users.
Ability to design workable solutions to problems in a timely manner.
Extensive experience implementing ITIL processes and procedures.
Experience with the development of Standard Operating Procedures and Policy Development for Infrastructure Departments.
Experience in developing IT Strategies and Technology Roadmaps.
Knowledge if HIPAA Security regulations.
Vast knowledge of infrastructure environments, including storage, network, telecom, databases, servers, virtualization, portals, etc.
Develop and manage Infrastructure budget.
Work effectively with cross functional teams.
Provide monthly overview of events and operational metrics and reporting
Oversee infrastructure projects with Infrastructure Project Manager.
Manage 24x7x365 support team.

SUMMARY

Enhance, maintain and support existing web applications as well as creation of new web applications.

JOB DUTIES

Performs design and coding of web applications following specifications using Microsoft technologies
Maintains and modifies existing web applications
Performs maintenance programming for existing versions.
Performs custom programming based on customer requests.
Conducts unit tests of new and modified applications
Writes or revises program documentation, operations documentation and user guides in accordance with standards
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technical staff members
Ability to interface well with Professional Service staff and other non-technical members of the organization
Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies
Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

7+ years experience developing ASP.Net applications, specifically controls.
7+ years experience with Object Oriented Design and Development
5+ years experience with C#
5+ years experience with SQL Server 2005 / 2008
Experience designing and developing data driven web services (WCF preferred)
Experience with Microsoft development tools including Visual Studio 2008 (and later)
Experience with Microsoft .Net framework
Strong UI design skills
Experience with CSS and Javascript
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
Experience with Ajax Controls
Oracle database experience
Experience with Sharepoint development
Knowledge of T-SQL, including stored procedures, functions and triggers
Experience with SSIS and SSRS


EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, or Engineering
