Colorado Farm Bureau Insurance - Systems Analyst

Colorado Farm Bureau Insurance (CFBI), is a well established Colorado exclusive insurance company headquartered in the Denver Tech Center providing insurance services to Colorado farmers and ranchers for more than 50 years. Over the years, CFBI has grown to a multi-line company offering a wide variety of products including Homeowners, Auto, Farm and Ranch, Health, and Commercial policies and many others.


We have an immediate opening for a Systems Analyst.


General Responsibilities


• Development and Maintenance of Client-Server applications

• Work closely with Business Analysts (BA) and End Users to determine requirements, analyze any problems and design solutions

• Analyze business needs and technical systems to develop and maintain programs which meet the needs of our end users and business.

• Work well in a team environment

• Updates, corrects, debugs and tests existing computer programs and coordinates testing with Business Analysts and Business Units

• Create and maintain technical documentation, assist BA with user documentation



Qualifications



• Minimum 3 years Programming experience in Object-oriented language such as VC++, VC#

• Ideally, experience with SQL Windows (Gupta Team Developer)

• SQL or PL/SQL with Oracle Database

• Experience with full systems development life cycle, from conception through development and testing to implementation

• College degree preferred

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools

• Property and Casualty Insurance experience is a desired asset
