The Oracle Enterprise Manager Ops Center product development organization is focused on the development of Oracle's systems management technologies. Oracle Enterprise Managers key functions include hardware management, operating system provisioning, virtualization management, OS update management and hardware monitoring. The QA organization is focused on system testing of all functional areas of the product.
Location: Broomfield (CO). Multiple openings- also looking for experienced candidates with Selenium. Candidates must have no less than 3 years of out of school (non-internship/research experience). Responsibilities:
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality.
Responsible for developing automated and manual test, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.
Desired Qualifications:
• 3-5 years experience in software QA with strong experience in developing and executing automated and manual tests
• Designing, writing and executing - Test Plans
• Deep knowledge in OS - Redhat and Solaris. OEL
• Experience with scripting languages (Perl, python, shell/sh)
Optional Requirements:
• It would be very helpful to have experience in testing Systems Management software technologies such as OEM Ops Center, Opsware, HP Openview, Insight Manager, BMC or other systems management software technologies.
• It would also be helpful to have experience with hardware, i.e. Sun/Oracle hardware
