Webroot is currently seeking a Senior Program Manager. The Senior
Program Manager is a member of the management team within Webroot's
Desktop Security Products business unit. You will work with Product
Management, Engineering, QA, Sales and Marketing teams in managing
various initiatives associated with our desktop products and our
ecommerce platform.



RESPONSIBILITIES



You will have responsibility for driving project schedules across
multiple teams and projects, but not direct authority over the resources
- thus requiring a strong personality, and ability to influence and
drive successfully on a cross-functional basis.



You will own project schedules completely and you will be responsible
for driving every project to a successful launch by ensuring
requirements are well defined and agreed upon by all stakeholders. You
will need to manage change effectively and efficiently and be able to
easily comprehend both business and technical details so that they may
be properly prioritized and resolved in a timely manner.



You will provide regular updates to all stakeholders (both internal and
external partners) on project status and progress being made. You will
escalate and enlist their support when needed and set and manage
expectations. You will be responsible for managing the overall risk of
the project.



You will continually question the status quo and look for ways to
consistently improve our process for how we run our internal projects
and develop our software.



REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



* 5 - 7+ years in a program / project management or software
engineering management role
* Prior experience managing complex projects and diverse teams
* Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
* Proven track record of bringing in large scale software projects
on time, within budget and with quality.
* Experience with eCommerce development
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.





HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



* PMI Certification
* Experience with managing partner or outsourced projects highly
desirable.
* Knowledge of Consumer software product development.
