Vail Resorts, Inc. is the premier mountain resort operator in North
America. The Company's subsidiaries operate the mountain resorts of
Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge and Keystone in Colorado, Heavenly
Resort in California and Nevada and the Grand Teton Lodge Company in
Jackson Hole, Wyoming. In addition, the Company's RockResorts luxury
resort hotel company operates 10 resort hotels throughout the United
States. We are looking for a BizTalk Developer to join our team in
Broomfield, CO.



POSITION PURPOSE:



Design, Build, Test, and Maintain applications within the Vail Resorts
enterprise integration platform.



PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:



1. Work with Business and IT contacts to maintain integrations
between key existing applications: Central Reservations products,
websites, accounting package, property management system, marketing
email deployment platform and enterprise customer database.

2. Evolve degree of data exchange between existing integrated
applications and work to integrate additional applications - web
applications, additional property management systems and activity
inventory systems

3. Complete additional projects as assigned by the Integration
Services Manager





EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE



Required:

* 2+ years of experience with Microsoft.NET (C#)
* 2+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005
* Self motivated and able to work in an independent manner
* Understanding of XML, XML Schema, XPath, and XSLT
* Four-year college degree; focus on engineering or computer
science
* Excellent communication skills
* Desire to learn enterprise integration technologies, patterns,
and methodologies.
* Proven ability to collaborate well across functions and
departments, to work as part of a team



Nice To Have:

* Experience integrating enterprise applications with Microsoft
BizTalk
* Understanding of web services (WSDL, ASMX, WCF)
* Understanding of service oriented and publish-subscribe
architecture patterns
* Experience working in Scrum development methodology
* Experience with Subversion Source Control
* Experience in Build Automation
* Familiarity and interest in skiing, snowboarding and travel.





LOCATION/TRAVEL:



The position is located at Vail Resorts Broomfield, Colorado corporate
headquarters. Travel to our various resorts and lodging properties will
be required.

The PeopleSoft Developer is responsible for providing expertise in
technical troubleshooting and performance tuning for PeopleSoft related
issues. This individual will participate in requirements gathering
sessions for PeopleSoft customizations; design, develop, and assist in
testing and issue resolution for PeopleSoft customizations; evaluate and
migrate customizations for implementation of PeopleSoft service packs
and bundles; participate in the entire project life-cycle for
significant PeopleSoft upgrades and implementations; and develop and
support inbound and outbound application interfaces.



B.S. degree in a computer related field preferred. Must have 3 - 5
years PeopleSoft experience with an emphasis on PeopleSoft HCM
(Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Time & Labor, Workforce
Administration, bundles and tax updates). PeopleSoft Application
Messenger and Microsoft BizTalk experience are preferred. Must be able
to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a
team. Must have outstanding verbal and written communication,
interpersonal, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
Minimal travel to the mountains may be required.
