As a key member of WildBlue’s fast-paced Software Development team, you will use your demonstrated experience in design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance of both the front end (GUI) and back end (server) components of complex n-tier web applications. Experience/Skills Required
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in a software development, test automation or configuration management environment.
• Interactive web user interface design and implementation experience utilizing one or more of the following: Python, GWT, Java, Javascript, AJAX, JSON, CSS and CGI.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and standards such as TCP/IP routing, DNS, LDAP and DHCP, as well as familiarity with key networking standards such as DOCSIS and/or WiMax.
• US Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Travel up to 10%

Preferences:
• Design and development of back-end/web services/server side software utilizing one or more of the following: Python, Java, Spring, Hibernate J2EE containers, SOAP and XML-RPC.
• RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL) development and basic administration.
• Ability to create scripts for a variety of purposes.
• Good understanding of software development processes.

As a key member of WildBlue’s fast-paced IT Group, you will use your talents for designing, developing and scripting deployment for reports using PL/SQL and a variety of development tools. You will also have the opportunity to design, develop and deploy code for custom database applications and provide post-deployment support, troubleshooting and rework.


Experience/Skills Required
Requirements:
• BA/BS degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• US Citizenship.
• Travel up to 10%.
• 5+ years experience with PL/SQL development using Oracle 9x, 10x and 11x.
• PC and UNIX skills.
• Database administration experience.

Preferences:
• Real Application Cluster exposure in OLTP and Data Warehouse environment.
• Oracle Parallel Server exposure in OLTP or Data Warehouse environment.
• Experience with Toad and/or Golden 32.
