Datalogix - Business Operations Analyst

Job Description:
The business operations analysis function is responsible for developing business insights that simplify and accelerate sales through data gathering, comprehensive reporting and analysis. This function is equal parts sales operations, business analysis, process management, and data/tool development.
Primary responsibilities include:

* Gather data and information from existing tools, systems, and databases as well as ones you create and maintain.
* Develop data sets and reports that drive business insights for go-to-market teams and Datalogix management.
* Analyze data and recommend improvements that maximize sales and operations effectiveness and efficiency.
* Identify trends and anomalies, develop hypotheses with supporting data, and present to senior management, business owners, and sales managers.
Skills & Qualifications:

* Ideal candidate has 5-7 years experience in a role that includes product management, sales operations, business analysis and/or data/tool development
* Bachelor's degree required, preferably in an analytical field such engineering, computer science, business, economics, statistics, or similar MBA a plus
Technical skills required include:

* Strong VBA skills - within Excel is a must; within Access helpful.
* Must have experience beyond simply recording macros.
* High comfort level with MS Excel, MS SQL Server & MS Access
* Some experience with rest of MS Office Suite - specifically Outlook, PowerPoint & Word
* Intermediate SQL skills desired
* Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and design appropriate solutions
* Experience doing analysis for and working with sales teams and operations teams
* Proven detail orientation and organization skills with ability to maintain big picture perspective
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must
* Solid verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
* Capacity to multi-task and prioritize effectively
* Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, establish strong working relationships, utilize resources within cross-functional teams, and be flexible within a fast-paced and changing environment Job
