Webroot - Senior Channel Marketing Manager

Webroot is seeking an experienced Senior Channel Marketing Manager in
our Corporate Marketing organization. Our ideal candidate must have
hands on experience in developing channel programs for major
distributors, DMRs, retailers, and etailers. This highly versatile
individual must have significant experience in creating, executing, and
measuring innovative marketing programs that align and support sales
plans that drive business growth through these different channels. This
person will work collaboratively with product marketing and sales on
critical channel business issues, and additionally determine the best
methods to communicate in a compelling manner to the target audience in
these channel environments. This role will prepare programs and
presentations for major sales calls and attend those calls when
required. Both B2B and B2C experience is relevant.

Responsibilities

* Develops channel plans in collaboration with sales lead

* Develops and manages marketing initiatives, promotions, POP,
collateral

* Stakeholder in the development of retail packaging

* Analyzes POS, sales trends, and competitive activity to
maximize sales opportunities

* Manages and reports key metrics and program performance

* Works closely with product marketing and sales teams to
identify new product opportunities

* Develops new channel marketing launch plans for different
channels

* Become an internal evangelist and expert on our target
segments and the channels where they buy

* Deliver training to internal and external audiences in support
of channel development opportunities.



REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

* Reports to Vice President of Global Marketing Programs



REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Bachelors degree in a business or technical discipline
required

* Ability to travel up to 50%

* Strong consumer marketing background in the consumer
technology sector

* Experience in leveraging consumer insights and business acumen
to drive promotional strategy, and the analytical skills required to
evaluate the success of past promotions/programs to develop new
initiatives

* Financial skill-set with basic understanding of brand, P&L's,
ROI, margin, and budget management

* Proven track record in negotiating skills

* This person must possess a passion for customers and
unflinching desire to exceed their expectations

* Must be a self-starter with proven ability to take initiative
as well as balance competing priorities

* Must have excellent follow-through, be able to work with
minimal direction, and balance the requirements of multiple stakeholders
within an organization.

* Must be flexible and enjoy working in an extremely fast-paced
environment
