Basic Job Purpose: Under general supervision, formulates and defines
system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop
or modify moderately complex information systems. Prepares detailed
specifications from which programs will be written.
We are currently interviewing for Software Developers for six month
contract positions. Selected candidates will design, code and test our
legacy system software.
Essential Functions: 1) Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, and
maintains those programs. 2) Performs development, and testing for an
AS400 application system issues or enhancements. 3) Performs technical
analysis and research. 4) Provides estimates for enhancements. 5)
Supports Quality Assurance and client testing. 6) Provides on-call
support for production.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or
commensurate experience.
Experience: 1 + years experience in system development and support. Good
working knowledge of AS/400 applications development and associates
processes. Good Knowledge of RPG, SYNON (Cool: 2E), CL programming.
Sequel and OS/400.
Skills: - Strong analytical skills and good communication skills. -

File Transmission Specialist
Experience should include daily operation of the file transmissions
software systems, monitoring transmission reports, interfacing with
trading partners.
Detailed working knowledge and understanding of overall data processing
environment and its impact on business function.
Experience working in a high availability production environment with
mission critical processes.
Experience with following file transfer protocols (https, sftp using
ssh, ftps, and ftp). This experience includes working knowledge of
command line usage and troubleshooting issues.
Experience with data transport scripting including vbscript and windows
command files.
Job scheduling experience is a plus
Experience coordinating with stakeholders (both technical and business)
to execute migration to a new transmission tool.
