Our small, but growing company based in the Denver area is looking for a
senior level PHP Developer. Our clients include some of the best known
technology companies in the market. This position is work-from-home, so
candidates need to be independent, self-motivated, and able to work with
remote teams.
The responsibilities of this position are as follows:
Candidate should have strong LAMP stack development experience building
SaaS platforms, some Linux server administration experience, and the
ability to design and develop dynamic web application elements utilizing
JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and CSS. The Primary focus;
however, is on core PHP development and database work.
Candidate should be collaborative and work well with other developers
with varying degrees of experience. Company has a flexible environment
and requires highly accountable professionals who are collaborative,
easy to work with, adaptable and unafraid to take direction, as much as
unafraid to give direction.
The Senior Developer will fill the dual role of Architect and Developer.
The Senior Developer will understand and influence SaaS based offerings
and develop a technology plan to ensure interoperability, outstanding
scale, availability and reliability as well as reduce product
complexity, as well as mentor team members to create a broad knowledge
of the architecture and supporting technologies to achieve business goals
* LAMP Stack Expert (10+ years of progressive expertise and responsibility)
* Solid grasp of building dynamic web elements using JavaScript and CSS
* Experience working for a high growth SaaS company
* Able to provide structural direction for the core components of the
technical platform
* Agile method, collaborative developer; ability to mentor others
The candidate should have demonstrated success in designing,
implementing, and maintaining SaaS systems, including DB schema design
and optimization, object oriented web application development, and user
interface design and implementation. Also needed would be the ability
to determine the appropriate use of technologies for current and future
business needs. And lastly, the candidate should have a proven record
of working well with others, cross team collaboration with other groups
throughout the organization, and the ability to mentor and help junior
team members develop technically.
-- Extensive previous experience with designing, specifying and
implementing SaaS applications.
-- Familiarity with SaaS services, cost frameworks, and configuration
options.
-- Experience with web application architectures, web security
strategies, performance tradeoffs, and user interface optimization
