Job Responsibilities:
The individual will work with mutiple IT internal/external support and delivery teams as well as our internal clients to provide the highest standards of support for both custom and out of the box application solutions in a customer centric environment. Responsibilities will include: handling application exceptions in our test and production environments; on-call rotation; handling client support requests; escalating and following up on customer problems with IT infrastructure and development groups; taking ownership of production issues; ensuring closure is achieved for outstanding bugs and infrastructural problems; assisting in application specific projects such as deployments, capacity planning, testing, and benchmarking; developing, defining, and communicating technical service policies and procedures. This position will be supporting 30+ custom applications, Siebel PRM being the largest.
Education Requirements:
Bachelors degree (preferably in Computer Science or MIS/CIS). Relevant experience may be a substitute for education.
5 -+ years experience in Information Technology development or infrastructure operations in a client centric environment; strong project management background; experience as systems administrator, systems analyst/ developer, or tester a plus; proven track record in client interfacing roles; prior development of policies and procedures in a client focused environment. Windows/UNIX knowledge/experience is a must along with SQL and scripting abilities.
Qualifications:
Strong technical aptitude. Ability to work independently or in a group and must have strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment working with diverse teams/individuals.
