Position Description:

This position is part of a team that is responsible for Windows Server
and desktop administration, network administration and collocation
facility maintenance. We have a global presence which will require 24x7
coverage.


Day to Day Functions:

* Installation
* Configuration
* Maintenance and support
* Email migration
* User and mailbox administration
* Security policy implementation
* System backup and recovery
* Change requests and problem ticket resolution outside
of normal business hours

Skills and Education Requirements:

* Two years experience in a primary support role managing a medium to
large Windows AD/Exchange environment.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Excellent telephone skills.
* Excellent verbal communication skills.
* Willingness and desire to learn advanced customer service skills.
* Willingness and desire to learn advanced technical knowledge.
* 4 years system/network administration experience.
* 3-5 years experience in a 100+ user environment
* Working knowledge of Windows 2003 Server Operating System
* Working knowledge of Exchange 2003 and Active Directory
* Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving Outlook and
Exchange related issues
* Demonstrated ability to determine root cause
* Ability to multi-task and perform project management activities
* Proven track record of excellent customer service
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability and willingness to be on-call 24x7
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows software conventions.
* Advanced knowledge of server operating systems.
* Attention to detail, customer focus, and the ability to work under
great pressure and in a fast-paced environment
* Understanding of networks and networking (LAN/WAN).
* Understanding of telephony, T1 technology, PBX.
* Experience with Hardware (Servers, ISA/PCI Boards, Raid Config. etc).

* The highest ethic, enthusiasm and passion.
* Working knowledge of Unix/Linux (RHEL, CentOS)
* Working knowledge of network monitoring tools Nagios and Cacti
* Working knowledge of Cisco switches and routers IOS
* Working knowledge of Outlook Web Access, a plus
* Working knowledge of wireless devices (Blackberry), a plus
* Working knowledge SQL Server 2000, a plus
* Working knowledge email security management, a plus
* Exposure to VoIP (SIP), a plus
* Knowledge of Asterisk PBX, a plus


Environmental skills and requirements:

* Must be willing and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
to
the satisfaction of customers and management.
* Must be willing and able to work reasonable overtime on short notice
as defined by the Customer Service Manager and/or TouchStar Senior
Management as a reaction to customer service needs.
* Must be team oriented and willing to contribute to the success of
others.


Starting salary range is $50K per year and escalates DOE
