We are looking for someone with the following skills:
Responsibilities:
*Ensure the proper functioning of equipment to support the corporate IT
infrastructure
*Install, maintain, configure and Support various Operating Systems,
Servers, and software on Windows and Mac Desktop and Laptops
*Review and deploy new Windows service packs, hot fixes, system
updates,
and vendor-supplied patches according to best practices.
*Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
*Utilizing help desk ticket system by inputting, updating and closing
tickets
*Service tickets through remote help desk support.
*Setup and maintenance of mobile devices such as PDA's and smart phones
etc.
*Purchasing, Setup, Management and Testing of Wireless Phones/Devices.
Position Requirements:
*College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer
Networking and/or 2-3 years equivalent work experience.
*Significant knowledge and experience installing, configuring and
supporting windows XP/Vista/2003/MAC OS X workstations and Server
hardware. manage and resolve escalated desktop support issues when
needed.
*Familiarity with DNS and TCP/IP networking and various network
protocols.
*Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, MS Exchange
2003
*Good written and oral and Interpersonal communication skills, as well
Help desk Support experience
*Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
environment.
*Ability to lift and transport moderate to heavy loads, PC equipment.
Desired Skills:
* Hands-on Experience with AdventNet Service Desk Software or any other
industry standard help desk Software
* Familiarity with Symantec Ghost
*MCP,MCSA or any other certification a plus
