We are currently recruiting for a Business Systems Analyst to join our
team located in the Westminster, Colorado branch office.
Basic Functions:
Participates in the evaluation of client area application systems
requirements and processes (e.g., new, enhancements or maintenance),
in the preparation of application system specifications, and in the
development, testing, and implementation of efficient, cost effective
application solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Candidate will act as liaison between the IT and Business teams
- Write technical requirements for system development
- Act as Project Manager for large development projects
- Drive integration and end user acceptance
- Works with management to identify and specify the business
requirements and processes for diverse development platforms,
computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client
server), software, hardware, technologies and tools.
- Researches and evaluates alternative solutions, and recommends the
most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems/program
design and develops system specifications and procedures.
- Translates business requirements into functional and technical
specifications and with some guidance, designs, tests and implements
efficient, cost effective application program solutions.
- Devises data verification methods and standard systems procedures
and participates in systems testing.
- Prepares program test cases, tests and documents defects.
- Documents all procedures used throughout the program when it is
formally established.
Job Requirements:
-a solid foundation of Project Management skills
-excellent communication skills
-2 years technical writing experience
-experience with the .Net framework and C# and SQL Server 2005
- 4 or more years experience in systems analysis and/or application
program development
-3-7 years as Business Systems Analyst
-Bachelor's degree from a highly regarded institute in the field of
Computer Science or in a related discipline
-proven analytical and quantitative prowess, excellent judgment skills
- the ability to work effectively with clients and IT management and
staffs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Take direction from Senior Developers/Management on development
tasks.
• Work with IT leaders and business management to identify and specify
the business requirements for each project.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical
specifications. With some guidance – devise, test, and implement
efficient cost effective application solutions.
• Develop and prepare computer programs (e.g., code and/or reuses
existing code through the use of program development software
alternatives and/or integrates purchased solutions).
• Conduct data integration, including imports and exports.
• Prepare program test data, test and debug programs.
Job Requirements:
• Two or more years experience in C#, ASP.NET/.NET
• Knowledge of the .NET framework.
• Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming.
• Experience with .NET 2.0 framework's capabilities and features.
• Web UI development experience including layout/design of web pages.
• Experience working with XML, XSD, and Web Services.
• SQL Server 2000/2005 and T-SQL.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Related degree
may be considered.
• Two or more years experience in application program development, or
an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidate must be a fast learner and enjoy continued skill set
advancement.
• Requires experience with application development support software
packages, proficiency in programming languages, good judgment and
communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with
management and staff.
