We are looking for someone with the following skills



About the Product Manager, New Products

As the Product Manager for New Products, your responsibilities will be
to work closely with the R&D team to identify and define new products
for the 9 Squared product portfolio. This is a pivotal role requiring
both technical skill and mobile industry vision. Your primary
responsibility will include assisting in the definition and
prioritization of 9 Squared's next generation products and services.

The Product Manager position is a strategic role requiring market
vision
and business acumen, but the role also requires a high production
output
focused on tactical deliverables. The right person will have 2+ years
of
product management experience, be analytical, have strong communication
skills, some experience in business modeling, be detail-oriented yet
able to look at a wide array of choices and identify what truly matters
to the business.





Responsibilities Include:

* Understands 9 Squared product portfolio and mobile content
distribution

* Builds roadmaps for future core application and consumer
service products, collecting technical and business requirements
throughout the product life cycle

* Works with technology development and program management to
define technical specifications and prototype concepts

* Conducts comprehensive market research and assists in
business
case development for new product concepts

* Assists in the initial rollout of new products and services
to
the market

* Works with content production and programming teams to ensure
back end infrastructure adequately supports new product capabilities



Required Skills, Education and Experience:

* 2 to 3 years of product management experience with large
volume consumer software products and/or services

* Bachelors degree in a technology or business related
discipline

* Some experience on the full product life-cycle including
definition, business case analysis, design, and implementation through
customer shipment

* Strong presentation and writing skills

* Strong leadership and organizational skills

* Must be a self-starter who can manage multiple projects
simultaneously and drive them to completion effectively.

* Able to maintain strong working relationships and
interactions
with engineers, customers, senior executives, partners, and marketing
teams

* Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly visible position

* Ability to manage deadlines and succeed managing dynamic
tasks
in a fluid environment



Desired Skills, Experience:

* Experience with mobile content platforms such as BREW

* Experience working with wireless carriers and wireless
content
providers

* Hands-on knowledge of mobile handset development and
technology

* High energy and passion for media and consumer entertainment
products



Salary: $65,000 - $70,000

We are looking for someone with the following skills

Responsibilities:

Develop BREW based mobile applications based on business requirements,
architectural standards and usability considerations. Work with
Architects, Lead Developers and Project Managers on a variety
development projects. Work with Architecture team and Lead Developers
to
establish and implement coding best practices. Mentor junior developers
in managing project deliverables and performing tasks using coding best
practices. Enhance and migrate existing applications to various mobile
devices. Debug application issues and manage change requests as
required. Work closely QA team to correct product defects and assist QA
engineers in the testing process.
Required Skills:

2-4 years programming experience with C and C++ Good understanding of
database concepts and solid experience with SQL General knowledge of
HTTP and XML and other web based technologies Working Knowledge of OO
design and development methodologies Excellent communication skills,
both verbal and written Ability to manage multiple development projects
simultaneously Solid communication skills and attention to detail
Working knowledge of code versioning concepts and experience with tools
such as Visual Source Safe
Desired Skills:

*Experience with BREW development platform

*User Interface development experience

*Experience in Java, C# and ASP

*Experience with SQL Server 2000

*Bachelors/Masters/Technical Degree (CS, EE, EECS or Equivalent)
preferred

*Familiarity with fundamental wireless technologies including SMS, MMS,
WAP-Push, GSM, TDMA, CDMA, CDMA2000 (1xRTT, 1xEV-DO), W-CDMA
