Job Summary:
As a Lead Data Warehouse Software Engineer you will provide technical direction setting for a team, produce architectural plans and designs, and work with other Lead Software Engineers to ensure that solutions fit the company standards and goals. You will provide hands-on technical contributions to development efforts, including the analysis, design, programming and programmer testing on enhancements and software development projects. You will provide maintenance and support for existing software applications.
Responsibilities:
• • Establish standards for ETL Design, development, implementation and support.
• Contribute to architecture and approach to maintain consistency and standardization within the business intelligence environment.
• Work with other lead engineers, software engineers, managers, Product Management, QA, and Operations teams to develop innovative solutions that meet company initiatives with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to development goals and principles.
• Contribute to project document reviews, and design/code reviews.
• Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.
• Generating automated deployment of developed solutions.
• Developing implementation and troubleshooting guides.
• Working independently with some day-to-day instruction and general direction for new assignments.
• Interacting with customers to verify and clarify requirements and design decisions.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• • 5+ years experience in requirements analysis, design, coding and unit testing of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications.
• Solid experience in ETL and Data Warehousing methods and technologies
• 3+ years experience with Informatica
• Experience with PL/SQL(Stored Procedures, Functions, and Packages)
• Data Modeling Principles
• 5+ years experience with using an RDMS, preferably Oracle
• 3+ years experience with UNIX.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team on multiple overlapping projects.
• Java a plus

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meeting discussions to identify effective solutions.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
• 6+ years of hands on experience in software development.
