JOB DETAILS



* The project manager is responsible for developing the plan for
migrating all Level 3 voice customers from our Viper network arch to
the new
Sonus (Vector) network arch.
* The project manager will work closely with the migration Ops planner
and Process Architect to define the development needs, operational
processes, and timeline for the migration.
* The PM responsibilities include:



To manage the successful implementation on new processes, systems, and
capabilities (as defined in the project scope) into all operationally
impacted functional groups (Service Delivery and Service Assurance).
Develop a comprehensive internal and external communication plan to
provide
status updates and communicate the operations project schedule (using
MS
project)
Work with appropriate stakeholders to identify and manage key risks and
dependencies in the project schedule.
Ensure all processes and M&P's are updated to reflect changes resulting
from
projects .

.Organize and schedule training
Organize and schedule User Acceptance Testing
Ensure reporting impacts/changes are identified and resolved
Ensure Ops acceptance criteria are delivered, and network deployments
are
scheduled and executed on time.



* The ideal candidate must have a basic understanding of the legacy
and new network architectures and a firm understanding of the process
and
system modifications required to successfully complete the migration.
* The PM will be customer facing and report project progress and
status to the executive level of the company.
* Excellent communication skills are required as well as a
professional attitude.
* The PM will be required to manage Sr. level resources and clear any
and all issues that may jeopardize the success of the migrations.
