Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
•All activities relating to the design, implementation and maintenance of corporate databases on an Oracle platform.
•Lead IT department operations with responsibility for planning and leading change management initiatives
•Teach and guide colleagues and project members in understanding and learning the capabilities and requirements of maintaining the Oracle database.
•Serve as an Oracle DBA subject matter expert in the company.
•Must be comfortable performing data modeling and providing reliable, recoverable and scalable databases
•Conduct and maintain security controls for databases, provide support, trouble shooting and performance tuning for all databases
• Install and upgrade database server software, database utilities and tools
•Implement database storage structures and develop disaster recovery as well as fail over plans
•Develop and enforce uniform methodologies and standards regarding databases

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
•Bachelor level degree in a CS discipline or 8+ years of relevant experience
•Minimum of 5 years of Oracle Database Administrator experience
•Knowledge of Oracle eBusiness Suite, Oracle Transparent Gateway, Oracle Enterprise Manager and Quest tools for Oracle.
•Must have experience working with Unix.
•Strong communication skills are required for interfacing with developers, system administrators and management. Excellent written and verbal skills are required to report on status, clearly define requirements, provide presentations/training materials and create clear and concise documentation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Oracle Certification is a plus
- Knowledge of Oracle Transparent Gateway and Oracle Quest tools
- Knowledge of DB2.
- Knowledge of Linux and/or zLinux

We are offering a variety of roles for technical Oracle experts to share their expertise with a global IT team.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
•Implementation and configuration of the various Oracle ERP applications modules as required by the user communities, and other business and operational requirements
•Manage, supervise and/or operate the Oracle ERP applications systems
•Serve as the technical and functional expert in all eBusiness Suite applications, managing the relationships with the various user communities and the vendor
•Manage and supervise the Oracle ERP applications operations and management
•Manage and supervise the Oracle ERP applications Database system design and operations
•Manage and supervise software upgrades, revisions, fixes and batches and mandated by the vendor
•Plan and lead change management activities
•Serve as a Oracle applications development “subject matter expert” in the company.
•Manages and/or assists in directing the activities of the Oracle ERP Applications Team, enduring the smooth running of the Oracle ERP applications systems to meet user, business and operational requirements
•Serves as the change leader through all phases of the ERP implementation
•Acquire and maintains thorough knowledge of operational, logistical, financial business processes
•Perform technical training for the Oracle Applications team which includes sharing best practices
•Partner with user communities to develop and implement system and user reports / reporting requirements
•Development and implementation of training and education programs for the user communities
•Serve as a focal point subject matter expert
•Perform other related duties as assigned
•Domestic and International travel may be required

- Masters level degree
- Global Oracle implementation experience
