Job Description

This position will be responsible for product definition and implementation for ReadyTalk’s conferencing products and internal systems. This role works as part of the product team and works closely with Marketing and Engineering.

Requirements

* Bachelors degree or equivalent
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or equivalent role in a software development company

Duties

* Initiate and participate in product definition from concept through implementation
* Document product definition and change requests for both internal and external product releases
* Manage product team to a defined schedule to meet product definition deliverables
* Communicate priorities clearly to engineering team (software developers and quality engineers)
* Balance technical constraints with product priorities to ensure the right things are being worked on at the right times
* Coordinate product release schedule
* Test system to ensure it works as defined and meets customer needs
* Report, track and retest defects found during test
* Work with the product team and other cross-functional team members to support product roll-outs
* Manage multiple projects at one time
* Collect and represent product-related feedback from users throughout product lifecycle
* Collect and represent feedback from internal customers on product-related issues
* Answer product-related questions from internal customers
* Participate in product strategy decisions as needed
* Participate in customer support
* Flexibility to work outside of business hours as a release schedule requires

* Strong communication skills, including good writing skills
* Ability to understand big picture concepts and drive into the detail needed to implement them

* Respect for multiple viewpoints (e.g., user vs. engineering vs. company)
* Ability to learn from mistakes and improve performance as a result of them
* Ability to work well in team environment
* Sense of responsibility/ownership over product quality
* Experience using Agile or SCRUM a plus
