Physicians' Education Resource, a leader in the oncology continuing medical education field, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in our Denver Tech Center office to help build and maintain systems that support the web based products we provide to the oncology industry.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participation in requirements review, design, implementation of a broad range of systems and technology from end-to-end
Work alone or in a small team environment.
Help Investigate and propose new frameworks and technologies.
Test, maintain and support delivered software products.

Ideal candidate will:
Be a self starter with strong desire to continuously learn new technologies.
Have a willingness and ability to take lead on and implement challenging projects.
Have strong communication skills.
Have 5+ years development experience in or strong knowledge of:
Delivering software solutions using a process based on the SDLC. (Agile, Waterfall)
Java backend technologies (light weight containers, Spring, knowledge of EJBs, Servlets, Hibernate, Ibatis).
Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, RESTFUL, CXF).
Interaction with enterprise databases and database design (Postgres experience a plus, PL/SQL).
Adobe Flex air and web applications(actionscript, flexbuilder, flashbuilder).
Mobile development (ios or android) a plus.
Design Patterns and frameworks (MVC, IOC, AOP, SOA)
Tomcat servers.
Maven.
Report development (BIRT reports a plus)
