Job Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking an experienced Java Developer for our Customer Applications and Development group at our corporate headquarters.
Work hands-on and provide the technical knowledge in the secure design, development, implementation, maintenance, and support of enterprise web applications.
Analyze information system requirements, create designs, and provide technical documentation by utilizing Dish Network specified tools and methodologies.
May provide a variety of services ranging from day-to-day support, maintenance, design, development, and trouble-shooting to improve, advance, or simplify applications and processes.
Education Requirements:
Minimum5-7years hands-on experience with web development - Java, J2EE, JSPs and Struts
Experience with WebLogic and an SDLC
Experience with Spring, Eclipse, Oracle and Hibernate highly preferred
Qualifications:
Strong technical aptitude
Ability to work independently or in a group
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment
