Within Integware, Architects serve as the key technical leadership role, driving the technology decisions for both products and services. These leaders fill the key technologist role in a project team - working closely with the Project Manager and the BPA/Product Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Architect is responsible for the architecture of Integware products and services and how they are implemented by the development teams. As part of the technical leadership team, this person will contribute to the product strategy working closely with the marketing product manager and the Director of Engineering. This position will also work closely with the sales and channel teams to ensure that the services and products are market ready and meet customer needs.

The Architect is responsible for the definition, design, and implementation of architectural requirements for specific products and services in the Integware product line. The Architect role is an individual contributor role, but is expected to provide influence across specific development teams for both short term & long term architectural requirements. The architect will also influence the key development processes including software lifecycle, key design processes, and testing processes to validate all architectural compliance. In addition to the internal team leadership, the Product Architect is expected to be the point of contact for all technical issues with the customer during implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Align customer requirements to solution implementation:
•Understand Integware target customers and market requirements
•Drive the product line/service architecture to meet requirements
•Lead the "how" of product definition in the context of "what" defined by the BPA/Product Manager
Manage technical relationship with customers and partners:
•Establish effective technical relationships with all stakeholders
•Drive Integware alignment as defined by requirements

Ensure the development organization utilizes good software development practices
•Design process and reviews
•Coding practice and tools
•Supportability
•Testability
•Technical tradeoffs that impact product scope
•Mentor engineers and tech leads
•Learn from engineers and tech leads
Assist the sales and pre-sales organizations in understanding and selling our products and services
•Assist presales engineers as necessary to win business and more deeply understand technical requirements
•Assist consulting architects to win business and more deeply understand services technical requirements
•Expand sphere of influence to all channels for our products including platform partners and other third parties

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
This is an advanced R&D development leadership position, typically requiring more than 10 years of experience. Ability to quickly learn new material is essential. Flexibility is needed in covering issues that arise.

•Leadership experience in a software business

Education:
•Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
•Desired is Master's degree in CS or Engineering

Experience:
•Extensive development leadership experience required
•Demonstrated software product and services architectural leadership

Within the company, the role of the Software Engineer functions as the key developers of complex PLM projects and products; working under the leadership of a Project Manager to deliver on high quality PLM solutions to the market.

POSITION SUMMARY
Software Engineers must be experienced in object-oriented software design and development. Candidates will deliver PLM software solutions satisfying product engineering and manufacturing customer requirements. Engineers will analyze software requirements (working with technical leads and architects) to design and develop feasible implementations that meet time and cost constraints. They will consult with other engineers on staff to evaluate operational and performance requirements of the overall system and engage in test-driven software development, bug fixing, customer specification development, and delivery (i.e. the full software development lifecycle). The top two levels of Engineers can also be considered for Technical Lead roles. Those roles will provide the technical leadership for a project or set of projects. We seek candidates with very strong character, values, and integrity.

REQUIREMENTS
•Motivated self-starting professional with high integrity, honesty and self confidence.
•Significant development experience utilizing OO development techniques, including: requirements analysis, functional specifications, design specifications, test-driven development, requirements validation, data migration/integration, and installation.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Prior experience working with at least one of the following: Java, C#, VB.NET (though hands-on experience working with Java is preferred)
•Use of frameworks/toolkits including: JEE, .NET, and Matrix (preferred).
•User interface development including HTML, JSPs, Ajax, etc.
•Technical development experience in any of the following:
•Geronimo, WebLogic or other Application Server environments
•Oracle and/or MySQL DB Management Systems
•Windows and/or Linux platforms.
•Prior experience with full software development lifecycles and best practice methodologies.

Education:
•Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, or CIS
•Certification on a PLM platform is a plus

Additional Desired Skills:
•Previous database experience
•Experienced in working with distributed applications and systems in various customer environments.
•Strong team, interpersonal and client-facing consulting skills.
•Strong verbal and written communications.
•Strong creativity and ability to innovate within the constraints of business requirements.
•Experience within the medical device industry is a major plus
