Description:
As a Senior Developer, you will utilize your Java and Oracle technology skills to develop applications and reports against Oracle databases. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of database application development for various marketing programs and financial reports, which will include database programming, data extraction, reports, unit testing, and quality assurance procedures.
Responsibilities
*Design, develop, and unit test Java software applications to populate, analyze, and extract data from Oracle databases.
*Work closely with production staff and managers to ensure software development efforts consistently meet business requirements and schedules.
Qualifications
*BA or BS in Computer Science or related degree
*4+ years experience in Java, SQL, PL/SQL
*Mid to Senior Level Java skills
*Strong working knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
*Comfortable working in both Windows and Unix (Linux) environments
*Demonstrated experience working on large projects
*High energy, motivated self-starter with ability to take direction and manage tasks with minimal supervision within an energized, collaborative and entrepreneurial environment
*Excellent communication (verbal and written) and listening skills
*Innovative and creative, able to champion new ideas and initiatives with attention to detail
*Experience providing solutions in the Direct Marketing domain is a plus
*Flexible and resourceful

As a Senior Developer, you will utilize your Microsoft and Oracle technology skills to develop applications and reports against Oracle and SQL Server databases. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of database application development for various marketing programs and financial reports, which will include database programming, data extraction, reports, unit testing, and quality assurance procedures.
Specifically, your primary role will be to:
*Develop database applications, reports, and data extractions using a variety of technologies, especially ASP.NET, .NET, C#, Oracle, and SQL Server.
*Develop code using established programming methodologies, meeting specified business requirements and project deadlines.
*Document code and processes clearly.
*Develop unit tests and quality assurance procedures.
*Ensure data integrity and quality.
Qualifications

*4+ years experience with Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL
*2+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
