In light of this expansion, we currently have a career opportunity for a
Senior Database Administrator in Boulder, CO. This job requires the
administration and maintenance of Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
databases. If you are a seasoned database administrator with strong
administration and development skills related to managing large internet

RESPONSIBILITIES



* Manage Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases in a production and
development Data Center environment.

* Manage & monitor the Data Center's hardware and software
infrastructures.

* Perform design, development and implementation work related to the
maintenance and expansion of the Data Center's hardware and software
infrastructures.

* Coordinate with and support Development and other stake-holders as
appropriate.

* Perform system maintenance as necessary.

* Perform on-call duties on a rotating basis.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



Required Administration Skills:

* 8+ years of development and administration experience with
Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL databases to include database
replication.

* Experience with Microsoft Analysis Services and Reporting
Services.

* Advanced SQL tuning and development skills.

* Advanced organizational, analytical, problem solving and
documentation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.



Desired Administrative Skills:

* Strong Windows and/or Linux operating system skills

* VERITAS Cluster Server for Windows

* Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley & Payment Card Industry (PCI)
security audits



Education & Certifications:

* 4 Year Technical Degree (Example: BSCS, BSEE, etc.)
* One required, both desired:

* Certified MySQL 5.0 DBA (CMDBA)
* Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
