In this role, you will responsible for all aspects of the custom development lifecycles for enterprise level application solutions. We are also looking for someone who will display leadership within the group and providing support within the group on development issues.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Produce reliable and consistent work in order to exceed both internal and external expectations; Architect and lead development effort on all enterprise development; Develop enterprise level applications using, Java, Perl, C++/C##, Unix/Linux shell scripting, Oracle, SQL Server, and MYSQL; QA, support and maintain applications developed by team; Document development projects and processes in accordance with development practice standards; Support DART API development for both internal and client needs; Demonstrate complete ownership of client issues and providing support on development produced by the group; Assume the development lead role with a team of developers which may include outsourced vendor resources; Prepare and perform presentations on new development concepts and custom development for all of DTG and other departments on a periodic basis; Show a commitment to continual self-improvement in order to learn and stay current with enterprise application development and DoubleClick technology and ensure skill sets are at the required level to address clients’ needs and development and to maintain superior technical skills within the group.
Requirements:
* Experience in OOP development
process, Unix, Linux, Bash, Perl,
Java, and C/C++.
* Excellent analytical and problem
solving skills with superior
organization skills.
* Strong communication, presentation
and documentation skills. Creation
of technical specifications is key.
* Excellent multiple DoubleClick
product knowledge. Primarily DART,
but MediaVisor, DART Search, and
Motif are an enormous plus.
* Ability to interact effectively with
others and lead a group of
developers in large projects.
* Knowledge of critical development
processes, technical languages and
database techniques
* Degree or certification in computer
science with strong experience in
the development field.
* Superior knowledge of application
and data development techniques and
bestpractices.
