9 Squared, a mobile media content company, has an opportunity for a
Director of Product Marketing.



JOB SUMMARY:



The Director of Product Marketing is responsible for defining and
executing marketing strategies designed to increase revenue and
profitability for all 9SI's existing and future products lines. 9SI's
product lines include top-selling applications for downloading
entertainment-based content to mobile phones, such as ringtones.



The Director will be working with external partners such as Major
Recording Labels, Mobile Phone Operators, Entertainment Companies,
Online Companies, and other partners to execute marketing campaigns
that
range from high budget National marketing campaigns to viral campaigns
executed through social networking communities.



The Director will lead, measure and mentor a team of Product Marketing
Managers and Coordinators who have specialized training in direct
response, digital and traditional marketing techniques. The Director
will be responsibilities for managing the Product Marketing Budget
directly with the Chief Marketing Officer.





ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Develop a complete understanding of 9SI's business models,
product, partners and internal organization.

* Analyze life cycle of existing products and develop marketing
strategies for stimulating consumer purchasing behavior,

* Analyze the development cycle of new products and develop
marketing strategies for driving traffic and revenue upon launch.

* Develop strong business relationships with current partner
base and communicate the progression of our partnership on a consistent
basis.

* Develop strong business relationships with all internal
departments and have a clear understanding of the business ecosystem at
9SI.

* Execute well thought out marketing campaigns with external
and
internal partners that are designed to increase revenue and
profitability.

* Follow up on all marketing campaigns with detailed reports
measuring the performance of the marketing program.

* Lead team of professionals and measure performance on a
consistent basis.

* Develop high performing working relationships with 9SI's
Business Development, Account Management, Creative Services, Technical
Services, Finance, Human Resources and Quality Assurance. Strong
communication between these departments will ensure that projects are
executed effectively, timely and with the highest possible quality.



ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for all B2B and D2C product marketing campaigns
and programming activities.

* Training Product Marketing Managers and Coordinators to
perform a supporting role for all marketing initiatives. This involves
technical and marketing training. This person also works closely with
the Creative, Technical and QA departments in order to implement new
projects.

* Continuously give guidance and advice to the Product
Marketing
Managers and Coordinators. This person's knowledge of digital and
traditional marketing will be needed to guide and mentor any new
employees on the Product Marketing team.

* Travel to visit with external partners in order to pitch new
marketing campaigns, develop stronger relationships, present results of
promotions and other travel needs.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

* Experience leading team of high performance marketing
professionals.

* Experience within the mobile content industry.

* Must have completed a BA or BS from an accredited college or
university, with a specialization in Business Administration or
Marketing.

* Must have a Masters Degree from an accredited college or
university in Communications, Business Administration or Marketing.

* 7-10 years marketing experience and a proven track record in
developing digital and traditional marketing strategies that have lead
to profitable return on investment.

* Experience must include direct response marketing background.

* Strong analytical skills to manage effectively.



SPECIAL SKILLS:

* This position involves the individual to communicate,
coordinate and manage projects that span across multiple departments
within the organization. This person will need to be a team player with
strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills.

* This position requires that the jobholder experience with
effective project and time management. All marketing campaigns involve
preparation and a high level of creativity, which are typically spurred
by partner requests and self-initiative.

* Direct Response Marketing experience required.
