Job description: Our client is seeking a Senior Database Architect. The client needs a Senior Database Architect required to assist in design, development and deployment of enterprise data solutions.
Responsibilities:
* Lead technical resource that can lead in the design and maintenance of enterprise class data solutions
* Demonstrated experience with varied Relational Database Management Systems
* Demonstrated history in Enterprise Application Integration, database architecture, data modeling and maintenance
* Demonstrated history in data warehouse design and development, star schemas and data mart design and management
* Review appropriate technologies and products for their applicability to specific project requirements
* Evaluate various solutions and select the one most appropriate for the project and company
* Mentor team members on design and architecture guidelines and value to business
* Work with Infrastructure to ensure reliability of systems
* Work independently, and exhibit leadership and mentoring characteristics
* Design and handle implementation and maintenance of the database environments for a variety of business applications
* Database Architect in various DB environments including MSFT SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
* Database Architect responsible for modeling enterprise structure
* Database Architect responsible for planning network infrastructure
* In depth knowledge of Unix and Linux
