ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical application support for internal applications and external
web site. Responsible for problem tracking, diagnosis, replication,
troubleshooting and resolution of application help desk tickets. Document all
troubleshooting processes and actions performed to resolve production issues.
Design, develop, test and implement web-based and SQL Server solutions to
resolve application issues or complete small project requests. Execute
production deployments. Analyze application help desk tickets and suggest
improvements to reduce application issues. Responsible for maintaining the
integrity of development and production environments. Work collaboratively with
development team and business partners in defining, developing and implementing
technology solutions to resolve application issues. Utilize SLS standard
development procedures and techniques to write programs and formulate concepts
and solutions using appropriate technical components. Develop technical
documentation for all developed applications, including flowcharts. Manage the
design and execution of acceptance test plans for a successful implementation.
Understand the total SLS IT computing environment and daily operations and
understands the impact of planned changes. Perform business analyst functions on
small projects or to resolve application issues. Must be able to participate in
assigned On-Call Rotations and provide on-call support as required. Regular,
consistent, and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science preferred. 2+ years experience with
developing SQL Server applications or enhancements. 2+ years experience with SQL
coding including DDL, DML, stored procedures, triggers and query tuning. 2+
years experience with web development utilizing ASP, VB Script, Javascript,
HTML, XML, cascading stylesheets. Demonstrated experience with
Production/Application Support. Demonstrated experience with developing ASP.Net
and VB.Net applications. Demonstrated experience with Visual Basic a plus.
Experience with other Microsoft languages and technologies a plus. Demonstrated
experience with adhering to usability, design and development standards.
Demonstrated experience with all aspects of unit testing, performance testing
and user acceptance testing. In-depth experience with the development lifecycle
and software development methodologies. Loan servicing or mortgage lending
experience preferred.
