affiliate.com, an affiliate marketing network connecting advertisers
with Internet publishers, and DataOverdrive, our email marketing

We are actively recruiting an experienced web developer with solid
knowledge and experience in PHP, Perl, MySQL, web servers, and
applications servers.
Responsibilities include:
* Design and develop PHP and Perl web-based and service oriented
software through all tiers from presentation to persistence.
* Able to view and understand previously written code and make
changes and improvements to said code.
* Interface with product management and project management on an
as-needed basis.
* Ensure that all technology services and solutions meet
business needs for reliability, performance, and security.
* Support, troubleshoot, and maintain production systems in
order to optimize performance, resolve problems, and provide timely
follow-up on identified issues.
* Think creatively and suggest alternative development
solutions.
Desired qualifications include:
* 5+ years developing web-based applications using PHP and Perl
* Extensive hands-on experience in the design, development and
day-to-day support of the following technologies: Linux, MySQL, and
Apache
* High degree of skill with e-commerce technologies such as XML,
XSL, HTML, DHTML, CSS, JS, PHP
* Experience with one or more version control systems such as
CVS, SVN, etc.
* Solid writing and communication skills required
* Able to be on call after hours
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and develop and
deliver functional programs in short cycle times.
