Summary
Responsible for providing system and reporting support for all company business groups. Works closely with internal HR customers to facilitate and manage system and reporting needs. Responsible for administering and coordinating the development and operation of the company's HR systems. Provides training to HR systems users and recommends modifications to ensure the company is using the most effective system. Candidate should be able to design complex SQL queries and MS Access / SQL Server databases in order to generate ad hoc reports.

Essential Duties
*Provides expert support to the business group in defining reporting needs, report generation and production from Oracle HR Systems. Provides high-level support and guidance to business groups in regards to ad-hoc report writing. Assists users in running reports, data retrieval, and defining report needs for development. Proactively develops reports for senior management and functional groups throughout the company.
*Assists with the strategic design of HR systems which often includes process re-engineering. Works with management to develop database strategies to support human resources needs.
*Configures HR systems and set-ups. Responsible for general system administration and coordination of system enhancements and changes.
*Creates detailed documentation of business requirements, test scripts and user manuals.
*Responsible for the testing and impact analysis of all changes to HR systems including technical environment changes, special programming and upgrades. Insures integrity of systems and will assist in solving problems.
*Coordinates all system changes and modifications with HR and IT management. Responsible for identifying appropriate resources needed and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of projects.
*Provides necessary training to users to ensure efficient use of the HR systems. Assists in the development and presentation of training materials.

Education and Experience
* Experience: 5+ yrs
* Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
* Field Of Study: Computer Science, Information Systems

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities
Detail oriented with 5+ years of HR systems experience and the ability to prioritize tasks and proactively meet deadlines.
Advanced MS Excel, MS Access, SQL Skills.
Experience with full life-cycle system implementations. Recruitmax, Oracle HR and Oracle Discoverer skills are preferred.
Solid communication skills, both oral and written.
Demonstrated ability to handle, produce, and maintain confidential information.
Highly skilled in planning and scheduling sequential activity; must have excellent group presentation and leadership skills, and needs assessment skills.
Experience in training, program development, PC systems and Microsoft Office applications are required.
Working knowledge of HR functions and processes.
