Systems Administrator Needed in Louisville, CO

The Systems Administrator will maintain our computing environment by
identifying system requirements, installing upgrades, monitoring system
performance, identifying issues, and fine tuning systems. This position
will include optimization, expansion and documentation of the current
platform as well as the introduction of new systems and functions. In
addition, this role provides primary and advanced end user support.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



1. Maintain all aspects of Windows 2003/2008 Server and CentOS
Linux, including but not limited to clustering, troubleshooting,
installing, security, registry, patching, deploying and recovering
strategies.
2. Troubleshoot issues and perform repairs to the mail system.
3. Manage the company's storage systems.
4. Initiate backup and recovery of operating systems and
applications, including disaster recovery.



Non-essential Duties and Responsibilities:



1. Measure, cut and run CAT5 cable
2. Run database scripts, backups and restores
3. Troubleshoot software as a last line of defense in production



Qualifications:



To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform
each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



Education/Experience:



1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience (I.T. related)

2. 3+ years experience with System Administration.

3. Must have a strong understanding of ticketing systems to
prioritize and manage workload.

4. Must have a strong understanding of Microsoft products and
information systems development.

5. Must be able to participate in a team environment and communicate
effectively.

6. Strong analysis and customer service skills required.

7. Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills
required.

8. Must be detail oriented.

9. Must possess strong documentation skills.



Computer Skills:



1. Proficient in the use and application of MS Office Suite (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

2. Demonstrates knowledge and experience working with Windows
2003/2008 Server and CentOS Linux. Must be expert in all aspects of the
OS. Extensive experience in Remote Install Services a plus.\

3. Demonstrates knowledge and experience working with Windows 7.
Must be expert in all aspects of the OS.

4. Demonstrates knowledge and experience working with Exchange
2003/2007. Must be expert in all aspects of mail systems in a clustered
environment. Also must understand Active Sync and have a reasonable
understanding of popular mobile devices (ie iPhone, Android, WebOS etc)
Must be able to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs to the mail
system

5. Demonstrates knowledge and experience in the management of
storage systems. Understanding of iSCSI SAN/NAS based on EMC
Celerra/Clariion a plus. Understanding of MPIO and MS iSCSI initiator a
plus. Strong knowledge of RAID technologies and methodologies.

6. Demonstrates strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol and WAN / LAN a plus. Basic networking
knowledge including switching and routing a plus. Understanding of
Sniffer (ie Wireshark) technologies a plus. Understanding of VPN
technology (IPSec / SSL VPN). Understanding of firewall technology, and
concepts

7. Demonstrates strong knowledge of backup and recovery of operating
systems and applications. Strong knowledge of business continuance and
disaster recovery methodologies a plus. Knowledge of Commvault Storage
Software.
