Great-West Retirement Services is currently hiring a Software Systems Engineer to join our Reporting and Data Services team of professionals in our Financial Services Systems area. Great-West is a leader in the defined contribution record-keeping services industry.
This Software Systems Engineer will be responsible for design and development of ETL processes in a Business Objects Enterprise and Oracle database environment. This position will be under general direction within a project team environment and require analyzing data requirements and developing application programs to support the Reporting environment of the Financial Services line of business. Responsibilities will include the analysis, design and development of reporting solutions based on business requirements.
Position Requires:
•Related technical degree (e.g. computer science, math, etc.) is required with 1 -2 years of computer programming experience. Without a Specialized Bachelors degree, an additional 3-4 years of directly related experience is required.
•Strong analysis, design and development abilities with programming experience using Oracle 10g database and PL/SQL.
•Experience with UNIX.
•Dimensional data modeling, Data Warehousing, and ETL.
•Prior experience with PRO*C and PERL, Business Objects Enterprise XI, including Crystal Reports and Data Integrator would be considered a plus.

This individual will be responsible for development of B2C Internet applications for use by external clients
Requirements:
•Object-oriented analysis, design, and development abilities
•3+ years general Java language experience
•Previous experience with JSP/Struts or Java Servlets
•Experience with Java Server Faces (JSF)
•Previous experience with a relational database query language such as Oracle SQL
•EJBs using BEA Weblogic Application server

•Development experience writing and debugging J2EE Web applications
