Webroot Software - Senior QA Analyst, QA Manager

Webroot Software is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst of Enterprise Systems for our IT Enterprise Applications team. The QA Analyst will work on a team of software quality analysts and functional experts to ensure that the company’s IT projects meet total quality management and reliability standards. This position requires the implementation of new or improved testing methods, processes, tools and systems while developing and coordinating appropriate test procedures. This person reports to the IT Systems QA Manager.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Create test plans that meet design specifications, report on testing cycle and help produce software and systems that are reasonably and increasingly free from defects
Review project requirement documentation, participate in design sessions and provide stakeholders with a risk analysis for each product iteration
Translate manual test cases to automated scripts for multiple applications, workflows, and user interaction points of systems
Responsible for contributing to improvement of system development processes as well as ensuring that the system quality assurance team follows the predefined process
Lead by example, providing a foundation and solid demonstration of SQA best practices by training, mentoring, and coaching IT team members and business stakeholders
Communicates with Developers, Project Managers, Usability Engineers and Technical Support specialists on project issues
Works with Documentation to see that all enhancements, bug fixes, and new projects are documented
Must be able to plan and implement test reuse and automation


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s Degree in Technology preferred
6+ years proven work experience in Software Quality Assurance Engineering
6+ years proven work experience with software quality methodologies, principles and processes
3+ years experience in testing and automation within an ERP environment (Oracle highly preferred)
3+ years proven work experience testing with Enterprise class software
2+ years proven work experience with HP or Mercury test tools (QTP and Quality Center) and enterprise testing automation
