Invent cable's future.

Tomorrow's cable industry will look nothing like today's.

It can't.

To keep pace with consumer demand for fully personalized content when,
where and how they want it, cable must constantly exceed those demands.
In fact, it must invent desire for new products and services long before
the public even knows it can't live without them.

Meet CableLabs.

Our sole mission is to create, nurture and deploy the technologies, such
as on-line services, wireless, and 3D-TV, which help our industry
members consistently reinvent cable and broaden its reach. The very same
unbridled desire to create and innovate that has propelled your career
is alive and well here—and has been for over 20 years.

CableLabs is looking for a Principal Architect, Advanced Browser & Video

developing elements of a remote UI design that accommodates cable and CE
demands?

RUI standard.

· Recognition will come in many forms, not the least of which
will be adoption by consortiums such as W3C, CEA and DLNA. If all of
this is what your career has been missing, you'll find it here.

Requirements

· A B.S. in Computer Science is good. A M.S. in Computer
Science is great.

· Over 12 year's software development success.

· Experience as technical lead on Web-based development
projects, specifically in scheduling, alpha and beta programs, bug

environment is a plus.

· Demonstrated hands-on achievements in developing browser and
DOM UIs, W3C DOM and remote UI design are vital to your superstardom.
Webkit experience will score bonus points as well.

client-server applications with associated back-end database systems in
a high availability, high volume environment.
