The Director of Software will be responsible for the efficient and quality development of Mercury's technology development. This role plans, directs and coordinates all activities associated with the software products. Products include internally consumed IT operational and externally delivered customer products as well as Software as Service (SaaS). Well qualified candidates will have the following minimum skill and experience:
·Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related
·10+ yrs software product development experience
·Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business leaders to integrate and support strategic planning with technology
·PMP and/or MCSD desired
·PCI and financial security experience preferred
·IT production/operational experience desired
·Management mastery systems and proficiency with technologies including: HTML, XML, ASP.NET, .NET, VB.NET and /or C#, JavaScript, Microsoft Office, Windows Operating Systems, SQL Server 2005, MS Project, process control equipment, and ecommerce architecture
·Agile/SCRUM SDLC experience required
·Business analysis experience regarding tech solutions and business requirements
