We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a passion for learning and ensuring quality software. This position will be a key member of our quality assurance staff with the opportunity to work on the consumer facing website with over 100 million users. The candidate must have effective communication skills and be able to work in a rapidly moving team environment.
This is a junior position, responsibilities include:
* Identify, isolate, and document defects clearly and concisely in the defect tracking system
* Regression test weekly product releases
* Provide time estimates and schedules for testing activities
* Develop and improve test plans and test cases
* Contribute to ongoing development of test automation
Your Qualifications
* 0-2 years working on a Quality Assurance team
* Familiarity with writing test automation
* Exposure with defect tracking software
* Exposure to Web and Internet technologies ( HTML, Browsers, CSS, Javascript )
* Excellent at multitasking
* Strong communication and personal skills
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills
* Ability to participate and cooperate in a team environment
* Passion for learning and enthusiasm for ensuring quality
Preferred Skills:
* Four year degree in Computer Related field required (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems) or related experience
* Prior experience working with software development team
* Prior experience or familiarity with LAMP environment ( Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
* Familiarity with database systems ( MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
