Primary Duties: Team Lead for a global team of 12-16 responsible for Software Quality Assurance (testing and verification) and configuration management of an internet/web-based telematics solution to be used in the construction industry. Define/refine/implement/execute the QA Test Strategy. Manage appropriate metrics, ensure the timely delivery of QA testing milestones and drive team efficiency and effectiveness. Work closely with the Software Marketing team and the software, firmware, and hardware engineering teams. Primarily a team leadership position but hands-on test experience is required. Education requirements: BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Experience requirements (years): 10+
Skill requirements: Proven leader in the testing field with good teaming skills. Must possess strong leadership and communication skills, a positive attitude, great work ethic and willingness to see projects through to completion. Track, manage and report progress of testing activities including management of a metrics dashboard. Excellent communication skills. Hands-on test experience and exposure to automation tools/frameworks.
Skills Desired: Team Foundation Server, RIATest, Agile development methodologies, GIS and Geospatial applications, SQL
